Information we process

• Front and side photos selected or captured for a review.
• Face landmarks, capture-quality signals, scores and report text derived from those photos.
• Account details supplied by Apple or Google, such as an account identifier, display name and email address.
• Anonymous session identifiers, daily review counters and basic service error information.
• App Store and Google Play transaction identifiers and entitlement status. We never receive your payment-card details.

How a review works

Landmark detection and initial image preparation happen on your device. Prepared copies of your two photos, the selected presentation profile and landmark values are then sent through our Firebase Cloud Function to Anthropic to generate the written review. The app does not place an AI provider key on your device.

Photos sent for generation are used to answer that review request. Our Cloud Function does not intentionally write those request images to a report database. Service providers may process technical logs under their own security and retention terms.

Storage and retention

Guest report history is kept on the device for the active guest session. If you sign in, Contour AI can store your reports and report photos in Firebase so history is available again on that account. We retain signed-in report data until you delete individual reports or delete your profile, unless a short backup, security or legal-retention period applies.

How we use information

• Provide, save and restore your requested reports.
• Authenticate accounts and enforce review limits.
• Maintain purchases, prevent duplicate delivery and troubleshoot failures.
• Protect the service from abuse and meet legal obligations.

Contour AI does not sell face photos or use them for advertising. The release app does not include third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Service providers

We use Apple and Google for store purchases and sign-in, Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, storage, database and server functions, and Anthropic for report generation. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their part of the service and under their own terms.

Your controls

You can use Contour AI as a guest, sign out at any time, remove reports, or choose Delete profile from the account menu. Profile deletion removes the Firebase account, saved reports, stored report images and usage record associated with it. Store subscriptions are managed separately in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings.

Children

Contour AI is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child submitted personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so the data can be reviewed and removed.
